Biography

for over 20 years I’ve had the privilege of supporting people in their professional and artistic development with renewed enthusiasm.
I’ve worked across borders in seven different countries for CFI, INA, and in France for Gobelins, Cifap, and CLCF.
My career began in the late 1990s for France3 Formation (FTVU), which entrusted me with the following tasks across the country:
-retraining editors on Avid
-training technical teams on server usage
– introducing journalist editors to television reporting.
These three activities familiarized me with major broadcast projects.
It was in this dynamic that I was involved in the creation of major French and foreign TV channels, training users on the editing system installed by integrators.
Subsequently, wanting to work with younger generations, I taught editing to students for a few years.
Since 2017, I have collaborated with the main professional training organizations in the audiovisual sector.
I train new users in Adobe Premiere Pro and Avid Media Composer, for which I am a certified instructor,
and participate in the retraining of editing professionals.
I systematically offer up-to-date programs adapted to the learner audience.
Once validated through practical experience, I quickly summarize and, if necessary, theorize the information to be conveyed.
I also offer innovative programs that allow training in a specific editing technique or to transition from one tool to another.

Today, I’m once again opening my horizons to academic teaching and schools.
With this in mind, I’ve developed a curriculum adapted to the university calendar:
editing training and an introduction to the three main software programs: Avid, Adobe, and Resolve.

As an ACI, I’m authorized to administer Media Composer certifications to learners from organizations and schools.
This specificity allows institutions that wish to do so to be recognized as official Avid training partners, i.e., ALPs.

In my view, training is a powerful way to support individuals’ development efforts, and I’ve always felt the need to  pass on as soon as possible the useful knowledge I’ve been fortunate enough to acquire.
